Course Description: Learn how to become a CMMC assessor with our course! To achieve the CMMC assessor certification, students will apply their knowledge of the CMMC Assessment Process (CAP) through a Case Study, use CMMC Forms and Templates for Assessment Planning, Opening Briefs, Assessment Findings, and Tracking Limited Practice Deficiencies and allowable POA&M’s. They will become proficient at how to score these assessments and what score is required to pass and be recommended for certification. We will cover all the nuances from unique features of multi-site assessments, numerous information processing venues that may come into play, and how to handle Managed Service Providers (MSPs). Students will leave the course as CMMC-certified assessors that are capable of planning, executing, and reporting an assessment – and handling conflict resolution and difficult situations! This skill may be demonstrated through self-assessment or a 3rd Party Assessment.

  • We begin the course with a high-level review of Level 1 requirements, Proper Marking of CUI, Ethics, and the CMMC Ecosystem. We then launch into a focus on the safeguarding of Confidential Unclassified Information (CUI) through a comprehensive review of the 93 additional unique practice requirements for Level 2. Students will understand the practice, assessment objectives, and assessment methods.
