Joe Lissenden
Founder & CEO
Joe Lissenden founded Precision Execution LLC in 2018 with the intent of bridging vision to efficient and effective execution of major enterprise implementations.
Precision Execution LLC is both a CMMC Licensed Publishing Partner (LPP) and CMMC Licensed Training Partner (LTP). Joe wrote all 6 Exemplar Global certified Lead Auditor Courses (ISO 27001, ISO 20000-1: 2018, ISO 22301, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001) Joe is a CMMC Provisional Assessor (PA-3) and Provisional Instructor.
He worked at ATK, in defense manufacturing, for over a decade and supported over 2,500 programs ranging from space launch, precision-guided weapons, large composite aerostructures, directed energy, solid rocket motors, hypersonics, and international programs.
Joe managed hyperscaler accounts (MSFT, GOOGLE, AWS) for EdgeConneX, a venture-funded data center company building and operating 40 data centers around the world. He declared 150MWs Ready for Service and was instrumental to meeting 100% of construction and deployment milestones.
He managed the BSI Americas Training P&L, hired, trained, and mentored over 100 instructors. He wrote and delivered new Lead Auditor courses that used the popular “Case Study” method and were certified by the RAB. He also implemented the first LMS and first eLearning course at BSI. He also introduced LIVE AUDITS into the curriculum.
His assessment log reveals hundreds of assessments to ISO & NIST standards ranging from ISO 27001, ISO 22301, ISO 22301, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, AS9100D, NIST 800-171, FedRAMP. He has done so for multiple Third-Party Certification Bodies including BSI, NSF, SGS, and PECB, and is on contract with multiple C3PAO’s. He has also consulted to hundreds of companies helping them in the trenches to achieve these certifications.
Joe earned an undergraduate degree from Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. He was formerly the 2016 NDIA DC Chapter President and on the Board for a decade. He was also active in the Navy League as the National VP Finance and Board Member.
