Day 1 – provides a detailed review of the ISO 9001: 2015 requirements. Instructors start with the big picture of terms and definitions, other ISO standards that are pertinent to quality systems and systematically work clause-by-clause through the standard. When completed, you will know what the standard says, what it means and have seen examples of the system in the case study to add pragmatic component.
Day 2 – guides students on how to implement efficient and effective management systems. You will understand the implementation process and the certification process and how they intersect. You will learn the critical project milestones you will need in your plan to build a management system and be able to estimate how long it may take. Battle tested instructors will impart their knowledge so you may benefit to know what works, what doesn’t work and present you with alternatives and flexibility where possible. Everything you will learn will result in successful ISO registration when implemented at your organization.
Day 3 – teaches students how to plan and conduct effective management system audits – internal or 3rd Party Audits. Using ISO 19011 as Best Practice and supplementing with standard specific we will essentially help you understand how to conduct internal audits.
Day 4 – arms students with all the skills necessary to be able to lead audits. This includes the technical skills required in an audit as well as the soft skills required to deal with people and difficult situations. We also cover advanced topics such as how auditors can keep refining their skills over time, remain current on changes in international auditing policy. Exercises include writing an audit plan, running opening and closing meetings.
All companies who are ISO 9001 certified are required to conduct internal audits. This course will qualify you to conduct internal audits. It will also qualify you on how to implement a management system. Detailed course agendas are available on the website. Each day students are required to take a 1 hour, 25 question quiz. To PASS that day you must earn a 70%. Once you have passed all 4 days, you are eligible to apply for Exemplar Global Certified Lead Auditor credential. If you pay the $350 fee at registration we will commit to you that you will have your credential in your hand within 30 days of you passing your last exam.
